Her story

“I know how it feels to be trapped in a confusing cycle of sickness that no one knows how to help you with.”

In 2017, months of recurring fevers, drenching sweats and debilitating body aches turned out to be Borrelia, Tick-borne Relapsing Fever, a disease I was never trained to treat, in a country I was told couldn’t have it.

In my one or two good weeks each month, I read every book and took every course I could find. Then the migraines, fevers and pain would come back and put me in a blacked out room, where even the feel of my two year old’s breath whispering on my skin was agony.

As a naturopath, I had the tools to find out. I spent months piecing together my own diagnosis from research, functional testing and clinical intuition, because no one else was going to do it for me. Within six months I was on the road to recovery, but it took another eighteen months before I was fully well again.

That experience changed the direction of my practice completely. I’ve spent the years since making sure I stay well, and helping thousands of others do the same, specialising in tick-borne disease, toxic mould illness and the complex chronic conditions that follow them.

In 2025 I contributed to the Senate inquiry into tick-borne illness in Australia, because the people living with this deserve a system that actually recognises what they’re going through.

In 2017, Briana’s clinical direction changed following her own diagnosis with Borrelia (Lyme disease) after experiencing a series of debilitating and unexplained symptoms. At the time, there was very limited awareness, testing or support available in Australia for tick-borne illness.

This led her into years of advanced study and clinical training, learning from some of the world’s leading practitioners in Lyme disease, co-infections and mould-related illness. During this time, she also uncovered the role of mould toxicity in her own health, further deepening her expertise in complex biotoxin illness.

Using a personalised, integrative approach combining herbal medicine, targeted nutrients, naturopathy and advanced therapies, Briana was able to restore her health and has remained well since 2018, even through significant physical, environmental and emotional stressors.

Her personal experience now informs her clinical work, particularly with patients who:

  • Have been unwell for years without answers
  • Experience fatigue, brain fog and nervous system dysregulation
  • Suspect mould exposure or tick-borne infections
  • Feel dismissed or unsupported within the healthcare system

Since 2018, Briana has worked exclusively with clients experiencing chronic infections, mould illness and complex multi-system conditions, providing a clear, structured pathway for recovery.

Recognising that true healing requires more than physical treatment alone, Briana expanded her model of care in 2023 to include specialist support for the emotional and nervous system components of chronic illness. By integrating practitioners who work with trauma, regulation and subconscious patterns, patients are supported at every level of healing.

How we work

Lasting results don’t happen in isolation

They happen when we support the body, the nervous system and the emotional layer, together. That’s why our approach is collaborative and layered.

Naturopathy

We address the physical drivers, drainage, support, infections, hormones, gut health and inflammation, with a clear, step by step and individual plan.

Healing Sessions

We work with the deeper emotional and trauma layers that often sit underneath chronic illness and keep the body stuck in patterns of stress and shutdown.

Breathwork

We regulate the nervous system, helping your body shift out of survival mode so it can begin to repair and integrate change.

This isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing the right things, at the right time, with the right support around you.
