When you’ve decided to do a liver and gallbladder flush as part of your cleanse, the next step is working out how to do them! The internet is full of complex instructions and hard to find ingredients. It doesn’t need to be overwhelming with these easy to follow steps using ingredients you could already have at home.
4x tablespoons of food grade epsom salts
1/2 cup organic olive oil
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lemon or grapefruit juice
*optional; 1 liver and stonebreaker herbal liquid from www.brianagunn.com/store/
1x small (shot) sized glass
1x glass jar and lid
*Optional Liver and Stonebreaker Herbal Tincture– Take 5ml 2x daily for 7 days-10 days
Eat a normal wholefood breakfast and hearty lunch
1.30pm commence fast
If you haven’t had a bowel motion today, do a coffee or water enema this afternoon.
6pm 1 tbs of Epsom Salt dissolved in a shot sized glass of water, drunk quickly and followed by a large glass of water.
Have a gentle evening with minimal movement. Expect some gurgling and bubbling feelings as the Epsom Salt draws water into the digestive tract.
8pm repeat Epsom Salt dose. You may have a watery bowel motion.
9pm juice the citrus and add to a jar with the olive oil. Shake vigorously to emulsify.
Do your bedtime routine and hop into bed. Drink the oil mix. Fall asleep or lie down on your back for at least an hour.
6am or on waking, take a 3rd dose of Epsom Salts and water
8am final dose of Epsom Salts and water
12pm break fast with a light meal or soup
Stick close to a toilet on the second day, as lots of watery stool and bile waste will be released
Stay hydrated with a focus on replenishing electrolytes.
If your blood sugar levels aren’t well controlled, you can dilute a small amount of maple syrup in water as a snack during the fasting phase on day 1.
